ROLE AND PURPOSE

Ensure safety and a positive environment for students who use district transportation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Certification/Education:

High School diploma or GED

Valid Texas drivers’ license

Certification as a school bus driver, Per CCISD DBB, Legal 

Special Knowledge/Skills:

1. Ability to work well with children
2. Positive results on the bus driver’s physical examination
3. Negative results on periodic random or scheduled drug tests
4. Ability to follow verbal or written instructions
5. Knowledge to communicate effectively (verbally)

Minimum Experience:

Three references that have been checked and verified.
